I believe the best measure of a designer’s work isn’t awards or magazine features — it’s whether clients are happy living and working in the spaces we create together.
My Track Record
Over 15 years, I’ve completed projects across six sectors — residential, commercial, retail, hospitality, healthcare, and corporate. My clients have included:
- IKEA Malaysia — Three stores across the country
- Firmenich — Swiss multinational fragrance and flavour company
- Axiata Group — One of Asia’s largest telecommunications companies
- TNB — Tenaga Nasional Berhad (Malaysia’s national electricity utility)
- Sunway Palazzio — Luxury residential condominium in Bangsar
- Nair Dental Clinic — Healthcare/dental clinic design
The fact that these organisations — with rigorous procurement processes and high standards — entrusted their spaces to me is, I think, the most meaningful endorsement of my work.
What I Hear Most
While I respect client privacy and don’t publish testimonials without explicit permission, the feedback that means the most to me consistently falls into a few themes:
“You actually listened.” — Many clients come to me after experiences where a designer pushed their own style rather than understanding the client’s needs. My process starts with listening, and clients notice the difference.
“No surprises.” — Transparent communication about costs, timelines, and potential challenges means clients feel informed throughout the project. The 3D visualisations help enormously — seeing your space before construction eliminates the anxiety of the unknown.
“It feels like us.” — This is the ultimate compliment. When a homeowner’s visitors say “This is so you,” it means the design captured their personality, not mine. That’s always the goal.
“The process was smooth.” — Good project management is invisible. When construction runs on schedule, quality is maintained, and decisions are well-guided, the entire experience feels calm rather than chaotic.
Why I Don’t Publish Client Testimonials (Yet)
I’m in the process of building this section with genuine, verified reviews from past clients. Rather than publishing anonymous quotes that could have been written by anyone, I’d rather wait until I can share authentic testimonials with proper attribution.
